=== Florida Marlins Team Report - May 19 === (My Sportsbook) - The Florida Marlins continue a three-game series at home against the Houston Astros tonight at Pro Player Stadium. Tonight's pitching matchup is a repeat from last Thursday when Tim Redding faced Florida's Carl Pavano. Neither pitcher received a decision in that game, won 3-2 by the Marlins when they scored two runs in the ninth inning. Pavano, who holds a 2-2 career mark in six games (5 starts) versus Houston, will make his eighth overall start of the season. He is 6-1 with a 2.83 ERA in his last 16 games (10 starts), dating back to September 26, 2003, including regular and postseason play. The righthander has surrendered just three earned runs in his last two starts, a span of 15 innings and he's 1-0 in that stretch. The Marlins lost 9-2 last night. Alex Gonzalez had two hits and an RBI and Hee Seop Choi also had a pair of hits for the Marlins, who have dropped three of their last four contests. Dontrelle Willis (4-2) took the loss after the lefthander was peppered for five runs on 11 hits over just four innings. Willis, who pitched a complete game against Houston last Wednesday, walked four and struck out four. Marlins closer Armando Benitez has not allowed an earned run in his last 22 innings pitched.
