Florida has been outscored 19-4 and outhit 30-12 so far in the series. Hee Seop Choi hit an inside-the-park home run last night for Florida, which has dropped four of its last five. Josh Beckett gets the ball tonight for the Marlins as he attempts to bounce back from a poor outing. Last Friday, the World Series MVP was rocked for nine hits and six runs in six innings in a loss at St. Louis. The righthander is 0-2 with a 1.89 ERA in three career starts against Houston. Marlins closer Armando Benitez has not allowed an earned run in his last 22 innings pitched. |
