Bonds hit a two-run blast in the first inning and Giambi followed with a solo shot off Yusaku Iriki, The duo combined again for solo shots in the fifth inning, off Hisanori Takahasi as the MLB squad went ahead 7-0 and cruised to the win. Baltimore's Rodrigo Lopez got the win by allowing just a hit over five innings, while Iriki was saddled with the loss after surrendering seven hits and five runs over three innings.
