Vancouver, BC (My Sportsbook) - The Vancouver Canucks trimmed their roster to 23 players and, among other moves, assigned forwards Jason Krog and Matt Pettinger to Manitoba of the American Hockey League. Krog has posted 21 goals and 37 assists in 198 career games with the Islanders, Rangers, Ducks and Thrashers over six seasons while Pettinger, who was acquired from Washington at the trade deadline last year, has 56 goals and 49 assists in 354 games with Washington and Vancouver over his seven-year career. In addition, Vancouver placed defenseman Lawrence Nycholat on injured reserve and assigned forward Jeff Cowan to Peoria of the AHL.
