St. Petersburg, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays named John McLaren bench coach, Chris Bosio pitching coach and Matt Sinatro bullpen coach, rounding out new manager Lou Piniella's coaching staff. McLaren and Sinatro served as coaches under Piniella in Seattle, while Bosio was also a member of the Mariner organization. Bosio had an 11-year pitching career and served for the past three seasons as a special assignment coach for Seattle. McLaren served as the Mariners' bench coach for the past five seasons, while Sinatro, a former pro catcher, served as the Mariners' bullpen coach for the past eight years. |
