O'Neal was whistled for a flagrant foul two with 5:19 left in the quarter as Detroit's Rodney Stuckey went up for a layup and was thrown to the court chest-first by the 7-foot-1 big man. The play was reviewed by the officials and the call was upheld, resulting in an automatic ejection. The 36-year-old argued vehemently with the referees before leaving the court for the locker room.
