New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending November 23. Wade led Miami to a 2-1 week, averaging a league-best 32.3 points along with 9.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game. On November 19, Wade joined former Phoenix Suns star Alvan Adams as the only players in NBA history to tally at least 40 points, 10 assists and five blocks in a game, when he had 40 points, 11 assists and five blocks against the Toronto Raptors. Nowitzki led the Mavericks to a perfect 3-0 week with wins over Charlotte, Houston and Memphis en route to his ninth career award. He averaged a double- double during that stretch with 27.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game while shooting .466 from the field, .500 from three-point range and .923 from the free throw line. On the season, Nowitzki ranks fourth in the NBA in scoring average (24.7 ppg), seventh in free throws made (80) and tied for seventh in free throw percentage (.920).
