Davie, FL (My Sportsbook) - Miami Dolphins quarterback Jay Fiedler had his cast removed from his broken right thumb on Tuesday. His thumb was placed in a splint and he can begin rehabilitation. Fiedler will not start throwing, and is expected to miss at least two more weeks. The quarterback is hoping to be able to return for the December 1 game at Buffalo. Fiedler fractured his right thumb late in the fourth quarter in an October 13 win against Denver. He injured the thumb on the next-to-last drive while throwing a pass to Ricky Williams. He was hurt while hitting his throwing hand on a helmet. Ray Lucas will start again this week as the Dolphins take on Baltimore. The Dolphins are 0-3 since Fiedler has been out of the lineup.
