Phoenix, AZ (My Sportsbook) - Arizona Cardinals wide receiver David Boston will have season-ending knee surgery next week to repair a partial thickness tear of the right patella tendon. Boston, who suffered the injury against the 49ers, currently leads Arizona with 32 receptions and 512 yards receiving. He missed last Sunday's 27-6 loss to Seattle. Boston began experiencing periodic tendinitis during a mini-camp last spring and it surfaced during training camp. The problem came back several weeks ago, causing him to miss the game against the Seahawks. A first-round draft pick from Ohio State, Boston enjoyed a breakout season last year and recorded career-highs with 98 receptions for 1,598 yards and eight touchdowns. He became the second-youngest player to reach 1,500 yards at age 23. He also led the NFL with 72 first-down receptions. Arizona wideout Bryan Gilmore and MarTay Jenkins are both sidelined with injuries.
