San Diego, CA (My Sportsbook) - The San Diego Chargers released wide receiver and kick returner Tamarick Vanover on Tuesday. Vanover was signed in May by San Diego after he was out of football for two years. He had previously spent the first five years of his NFL career with Kansas City. The 28-year-old returner had averaged 23.1 yards per kick return, and 5.4 yards on punt returns in seven games this season. The Chargers will use Ronney Jenkins and Reche Caldwell to return kickoffs, and Tim Dwight will handle the punt returns. |
