Anaheim, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have agreed to terms with outfielder Juan Rivera on a three-year contract, team general manager Tony Reagins announced Friday. Per team policy, financial terms were not disclosed. The 30-year-old Rivera has spent the last four seasons with the Angels, posting 12 homers and 45 runs batted in while hitting .246 in 89 games in 2008. He has played in only 103 games in the past two seasons and his best year came in 2006, when he batted .310, hit 23 homers and drove in 85 runs in 124 games for Los Angeles. In eight seasons with the Yankees, Expos and Angels, Rivera is a career .284 hitter with 72 homers and 278 RBI in 555 games.
