Ashburn, VA (My Sportsbook) - The Washington Redskins placed defensive tackle Lorenzo Alexander on injured reserve Wednesday. Alexander, 25, went down with a hamstring injury in Sunday's 10-3 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles and finished the 2008 campaign with 17 tackles and two sacks. To fill Alexander's roster spot, the club signed linebacker Tyson Smith. The Redskins wrap up the regular season Sunday at San Francisco. |
