Arlington, TX (My Sportsbook) - The Texas Rangers agreed to a one-year contract with right-handed relief pitcher Frank Francisco on Tuesday, avoiding the arbitration for which Francisco was eligible. Francisco went 3-5 with a 3.13 earned run average with 26 walks and 83 strikeouts in 58 appearances during the 2008 season. For his career, he has gone 9-8 with a 3.72 ERA in 170 games, walking 94 and striking out 198. |
