Phoenix, AZ (My Sportsbook) - Grant Hill scored 27 points -- eight in the fourth quarter, and the Phoenix Suns defeated the Golden State Warriors, 115-105, at US Airways Center.

The Warriors had won the opener of the home-and-home series, 124-112, Wednesday in Oakland.

Amare Stoudemire provided 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Suns, who have won two of three overall. Jason Richardson had 25 points, and Steve Nash had 19 points, eight assists and five rebounds in the win.

Shaquille O'Neal became the seventh NBA player to pass the 27,000-point mark, totaling 12 points to give him 27,011 all-time.

Stephen Jackson tallied 24 points and six assists for the Warriors, who have lost three of four. Corey Maggette added 25 points, while Jamal Crawford had 17 in the loss. Monta Ellis contributed 15 points and nine boards.

Andris Biedrins had 11 points and 11 rebounds before leaving with a sprained right ankle after the third quarter.

Leading 86-85 after three quarters, the Suns got seven straight points from Richardson in the early minutes of the fourth to take a 93-89 lead with just over 10 minutes left.

A Hill jumper with just under seven minutes left made it 101-91 in favor of the hosts.

A quick 10-2 Warriors run, capped by a Maggette three-point play, got the visitors to within 103-101 with 4:26 left.

After a Hill dunk, Stoudemire nailed two free throws with 2 1/2 minutes left to push it to a six-point edge for Phoenix, and the Warriors committed charging fouls on their next two possessions.

Nash promptly hit a floater with 1:25 left to make it 111-103, and the Suns cruised from that point.

The Suns began the game on a 15-2 burst, and Phoenix held a 31-21 lead after one quarter thanks to nine points apiece from Hill and Stoudemire.

Golden State cut into the deficit in the second but still trailed, 59-54, at halftime.

The Warriors took the lead by scoring the first nine points after the break, going up 63-59 on a Biedrins layup. Richardson eventually tied the game at 80 on a layup with 2:47 left in the third, and Phoenix took an 86-85 lead to the fourth.
