Nashville, TN (My Sportsbook) - The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with All-Pro kicker Rob Bironas on a multi-year contract Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but according the Tennessean, the contract is worth $12 million with $5 million guaranteed. Bironas was scheduled to become a free agent on February 27. One of the NFL's most powerful and accurate kickers over his five years in the league, Bironas has connected on 84.5 percent of his field goal attempts, which places him fifth on the NFL's all-time list for accuracy. "We are happy to get this deal done," said Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt. "Rob has worked hard to establish himself as one of the best all- around kickers in the NFL and I would expect that to continue in the years to come." An All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection after the 2007 campaign, the Louisville, Kentucky, native holds several franchise and league records. Bironas converted on an NFL record eight field goals in a game against Houston on December 2, 2007. In addition, the right-footed kicker holds the club record for longest field goal (60 yards), most field goals in a game (8), most consecutive games with a field goal (19) and most consecutive field goals (20, tied with Al Del Greco).
