Chicago, IL (My Sportsbook) - Chicago White Sox outfielder Aaron Rowand underwent successful surgery Thursday on his left shoulder blade and should be ready for spring training. Rowand suffered the injury in a dirt bike accident near his home in California on November 1. The 25-year-old also broke a rib on both his right and left sides and bruised his left shoulder. He inherited the White Sox' starting center field job when Kenny Lofton was traded in late July. Rowand batted .258 in 2002 with seven homers and 29 RBI in 126 games.
