=== Bowen re-signs with Spurs === San Antonio, TX (My Sportsbook) - The San Antonio Spurs re-signed forward Bruce Bowen to a new deal on Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not released. "We are pleased to be bringing Bruce back to San Antonio," said Spurs general manager R.C. Buford. "Besides being one of the premier perimeter defenders in the NBA, his leadership and work ethic set a tremendous example in our locker room and in the community." The 6-7, 200-pound Bowen averaged 6.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists last season while appearing in all 82 games for the second straight season. Bowen has also played for the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat. He was originally signed with the Spurs as a free agent on July 31, 2001. The club also announced Wednesday the signing of guard Beno Udrih. The native of Celju, Slovenia was drafted by the Spurs with the 28th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft.
