Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - The Washington Nationals acquired right- hander Logan Kensing from the Florida Marlins on Wednesday. In exchange, the Nationals sent pitching prospect Kyle Gunderson to Florida. The 26-year-old Kensing is 7-8 with a 5.21 earned-run average over 108 appearances in five seasons with the Marlins. The 24-year-old Gunderson, chosen in the 48th round of the 2007 draft, was 2-0 with a 2.84 ERA in five relief appearances for Single-A Potomac this season. |
