New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Denver Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin was fined $25,000 by the league and given a flagrant foul one for hard contact with Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki in Sunday's opener of the Western Conference semifinals. The play occurred midway through the first quarter of Denver's 109-95 victory when Martin threw Nowitzki to the floor. Martin, who finished with eight points and five rebounds on Sunday, is averaging 9.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game thus far in the playoffs. |
