Knoxville, TN (My Sportsbook) - Tennessee Volunteers wide receiver Kelley Washington will have surgery next week to fuse two vertebrae. The procedure will be performed on Tuesday by Dr. Drew Dossett. Washington suffered a head and neck injury against Georgia on October 12, and missed the Vols' next four games. Team officials originally called the injury a strained neck. The sophomore came down hard on the back of his head and neck after a 45-yard catch against the Bulldogs. Washington has 23 receptions for 443 yards, despite playing in only four games. He missed the first two contests with a sprained right knee.
