Eugene, OR (My Sportsbook) - Oregon junior tailback Onterrio Smith missed Saturday's 42-14 loss at home to Washington and will have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Monday. He will miss the Ducks' regular-season finale against Oregon State next week, but hopes to be ready to play in Oregon's bowl game. Smith initially hurt his knee in the Ducks' October 26 loss to Southern California and missed the following week's game against Stanford because of the injury. The 5-10, 204-pound Smith also suffered a sprained toe in last Saturday's 32-21 setback at Washington State and had been limited during the week's practices. Smith has rushed 226 times for 1,079 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. He also has made 11 catches for 77 yards. The absence of Smith hurt the Oregon running game in Saturday's loss to the Huskies. Ryan Shaw was the Ducks' leading rusher in defeat, gaining just 42 yards on seven carries.
