St. Louis, MO (My Sportsbook) - St. Louis Rams running back Marshall Faulk was a late scratch for Monday's game against the Chicago Bears. Faulk suffered a sprained left ankle and a strained tendon on the bottom of his right foot in last week's 28-24 comeback win over the San Diego Chargers. Faulk did not practice all week. Faulk, the MVP of the league in 2000, has 816 yards and eight TDs on 164 carries this season, while recording 426 yards on 60 receptions with a pair of touchdowns. Rookie running back Lamar Gordon, who is making his first career start, will carry the load for the surging Rams, who have won four straight after starting out 0-5. This season, the North Dakota State product has 76 yards and a TD on 16 touches, and 11 receptions for 99 yards and a score. Gordon was Martz's choice to start ahead of running back Trung Canidate.
