Memphis, TN (My Sportsbook) - The Memphis Grizzlies continue their search for that elusive first win of the season when they welcome the Philadelphia 76ers to the Pyramid tonight. Philadelphia had a three-game winning streak snapped 99-98 by the New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday night. Allen Iverson scored a game-high 38 points for the Sixers, but New Orleans' David Wesley dropped in a bucket at the buzzer to doom Philadelphia. Although it was a last-second shot that ultimately decided the game, Philly, in reality, lost this game on the boards. The Hornets outrebounded the Sixers 50-34. "We made them take a tough shot," 76ers coach Larry Brown said. "We talked about blocking out and rebounding ... I always tell them, 'It's not the last-second shots that beat you. The second shots beat you.'" Iverson was distraught after the Sixers fourth road loss in five games away from First Union Center. "I'd rather lose by 30 than lose like this," Iverson said. "These ones hurt. Bad." Philadelphia has a 2-0 mark against Western Conference foes. Memphis is coming off a 110-106 overtime setback to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jason Williams led the Grizzlies with 14 points. Seven Grizzlies tallied double figures. "We got a little tired, but we left everything out there and gave ourselves the opportunity to win," Memphis' Shane Battier said. "We'll get it done." Memphis is 0-5 at home and has an 0-2 mark against teams from the Eastern Conference. The Grizzlies have won two straight on the heels of a 10-game series slide. Philly leads the all-time series 10-3.
