Denver, CO (My Sportsbook) - The Utah Jazz seek their third straight win when they travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets, who have lost four in a row. Utah is coming off a 99-76 victory over the Phoenix Suns. It was the first time this season that the Jazz have put together back-to-back victories. Karl Malone finished with 23 points and eight rebounds, and Andrei Kirilenko returned after missing two games with a back injury and scored 20 for Utah. "That was probably our best game we have played that has gone wire-to-wire," Utah coach Jerry Sloan said. "We passed the ball and it seemed that we knew what we were doing most of the time." The Jazz are 2-6 on the road and have a 2-1 mark against teams from the Western Conference. Denver has dropped four straight and eight of its 10 games this season. The Nuggets are coming off a 99-79 thumping at New Jersey on Monday night: that was not even as close as the score indicated. New Jersey led by as many as 35 points in the second half of its wire-to-wire triumph. New Jersey led by 28 points late in the third quarter and left its starters on the floor. Denver coach Jeff Bzdelik did not take offense. "The way my team played annoyed me. This is the NBA, it's a man's league," Bzdelik said. "Nobody feels sorry for you. That didn't concern me. We allowed that to happen." The Nuggets are just 1-4 at Pepsi Center and have a 2-3 mark within the Western Conference. Utah won three of the four meetings between the teams last season and has won 18 of the last 23 overall. The Jazz lead the all-time series 76-52.
