Minneapolis, MN (My Sportsbook) - Minnesota Twins utility infielder Denny Hocking will probably miss the AL Championship Series against Anaheim with a finger injury on his throwing hand. Hocking, who made the final out during Sunday's 5-4 victory over the Angels in Game 5 of the AL division series, suffered the injury in the postgame pileup. A teammate stepped on the middle finger of his right hand, splitting the nail in two places. Hocking got the start at second base on Sunday in place of Luis Rivas, who had a sore hamstring. Hocking drove in Minnesota's first run and finished with two hits in the victory. In 102 games this season, Hocking hit .250 with two home runs and 25 RBI. The Twins, who will open the ALCS with the Angels on Tuesday at the Metrodome, will add infielder David Lamb to the playoff roster to replace Hocking.
