Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - Atlanta Hawks rookie guard Dan Dickau will miss four-to-six weeks with torn cartilage in his right knee. He underwent arthroscopic surgery Wednesday after an MRI on Tuesday revealed the tear. Dickau is averaging 1.7 points in six games this season. The 24-year-old Dickau was taken 28th in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. But the Hawks acquired the draft rights to the former Gonzaga standout in exchange for a future first-round pick. Last year, Dickau averaged 21.0 points and 4.7 assists and was a First Team AP All-American selection. He also guided the Bulldogs to a 29-4 record and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
