Kirkland, WA (My Sportsbook) - The Seattle Seahawks claimed offensive tackle Chris Terry off waivers Thursday one day after he was released by the Carolina Panthers. Terry was waived Wednesday after failing to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of assaulting his wife. The 27-year-old Terry had started in 10 straight games this season - and 57 of 58 in three seasons - for the Panthers, who made him the 34th overall selection in the 1999 NFL Draft. To make room for Terry, Seattle waived wide receiver Kevin Kasper.
