Charlotte, NC (My Sportsbook) - Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme is being listed as day-to-day after it was revealed Monday he suffered a broken finger on his right hand during Sunday's loss to the Jets. Delhomme had thrown three interceptions before the injury occurred late in the fourth quarter. His fourth pick a little later sealed the 17-6 setback, dropping the club to 4-7 on the year. "It got sore overnight and was definitely sore this morning," Panthers head coach John Fox said on Monday. "The doctors took a look at it [Monday]. We'll see what he can take and can't take. I'd say he'd be pretty hard-pressed to take snaps Wednesday (at practice)." The embattled veteran has started 28 consecutive games behind center for Carolina. For the year, Delhomme has already thrown a career-high 18 interceptions and has a quarterback rating of 59.4 through 11 games. Matt Moore, who has not started since December 2007, is listed as the team's backup.
