Sacramento Kings try to extend their winning streak to four games Friday, when they host the
Phoenix Suns at ARCO Arena.
The Kings have won their last three games to reclaim the top spot in the Pacific Division, one-half game ahead of Seattle.
On Wednesday, Chris Webber and Bobby Jackson each had 19 points and seven rebounds, as the Kings used a strong fourth quarter to down the Los Angeles Clippers, 93-89, at Staples Center.
Peja Stojakovic added 16 points for the Kings, who have won six of their last seven overall.
Doug Christie collected 12 points, nine assists and eight boards for Sacramento, which outscored the Clippers 30-21 in the final 12 minutes.
The Kings are perfect at home this season at 6-0. They began last season with seven straight victories at ARCO Arena.
Sacramento is also 5-1 against the Western Conference this year, including 3-1 within the Pacific.
The Suns had a four-game winning streak snapped in their last outing, falling to the Jazz in Utah, 99-76.
Stephon Marbury paced Phoenix with 18 points, while Shawn Marion and Joe Johnson each scored 13 for the Suns, who fell to 1-3 on the road this season.
Phoenix shot just 37-percent (29-of-78) on the night, and made only 2- of-12 from behind the arch.
The Suns are 3-3 versus the Western Conference, including 1-1 within the Pacific.
The Kings claimed the last three meetings with Phoenix last season after dropping the initial contest. Overall, Sacramento has won six of the last eight meetings. The Suns have dropped four straight in Sacramento.
